DeCaLiBron mountain challenge

In 2 short months, I will be attempting to hike to the summit of four 14er (14,000+ feet) mountains in Colorado. To help motivate me as I get ready for this challenge, I plan to document how I am doing on this blog. The route we plan to take to hike to the summit of these 4 mountains (Mt. Democrat, Mt. Cameron, Mt. Lincoln, and Mt. Bross) is highlighted on this page: http://www.14ers.com/routemain.php?route=bros6&peak=Mt.+Democrat. The route is 7 miles roundtrip and gains 3,600 feet in elevation.
